Why we built Agent Demos

We started Navattic with a clear belief: prospects should experience products, not just read about them. Interactive demos delivered on that promise. With interactive demos, buyers can click through the product, explore features, and self-qualify at their own pace.

In conversations with our customers, we’ve heard the following themes emerge:

SMB deals are deprioritized, even when they’re winnable. Very SMB leads will often close if reps work them, but it’s often a tough sell given the time required to close them. In some cases, it takes a similar amount of time to close an SMB deal as it does a mid-market deal. Because of this, SMB deals are often worked lightly, deprioritized, or skipped entirely. However, sales leaders know that they are leaving revenue on the table.

International buyers fall through the cracks. Running sales processes with international buyers is a challenge. Whether you have an international GTM team, an international GTM team without SE support, or do not have an international team at all, we’ve consistently heard that there is untapped revenue potential in these markets, but connecting with them in their language and at a time that works for both parties is a continued challenge.

Gaining reps up to speed on the product is time-consuming. New AEs often need extensive help before they can confidently run demos or handle technical questions. Sales leaders & SE teams spend time walking reps through the same demo flows, answering 101 product questions, and shadowing early calls. While getting reps familiar with the product is important, it takes value sales + SE time to get them to the “101” level product-wise.

Enter Agent Demos

An agent demo is a product demo driven by an AI agent that can converse with users (via voice or chat), understand their intent, interpret questions, and autonomously navigate the demo experience to show relevant features and functionality.

Think of it as your product knowledge encoded in a conversational interface that can actually operate your software, not just talk about it.

How Agent Demos work

There are three steps to creating an agentic demo:

  1. Set up your desired environment. This is a one-time setup. Both live demo accounts and sandbox demos built in Navattic are supported.
  2. Specify guardrails, objectives, and relevant product context.
  3. Publish and share. Your agent demo is now shareable via a distinct link and can run live demos end-to-end.

With Agent Demos, teams can:

Give SMB leads a premium experience without manual effort

Prospect submits a demo request at midnight. Instead of waiting for business hours, they can immediately access a conversational demo. The agent understands their use case, interprets their questions, and autonomously navigates to relevant features. Sales team can then review the transcript and engagement data to prioritize follow-up activities.

Sales spend their time on prospects who are already educated and qualified. First calls become second calls.

Cover international markets

Demo requests from international markets no longer sit ignored. With agent demos, every inbound request gets a response in their language, with context and guidance that matches their needs. With agent demos, you can serve these markets without sacrificing more sales bandwidth.

Additionally, when prospects need enterprise discussions, the agent can deflect appropriately: "For custom implementations, let me connect you with our regional specialist."

Create a product demo gym

New AEs learn products without consuming senior SE time. They can converse with the agent, ask questions in natural language, and watch it autonomously navigate demo flows. Ask "dumb questions" without judgment. Explore "what if" scenarios before customer calls.

New SEs can interact with an agent trained on how your best sales rep or SE demos. It functions as an on-demand senior coach available 24/7. It interprets questions and shows best practices in action. Enable faster ramp time, more consistent messaging, and senior expertise amplified across the team.

This is just the start, and we suspect there are many more ways agent demos will be valuable to teams.
